Sony Tablet S

The Sony Tablet S is manufactured by Sony and released on September 16, 2011 as Sony’s first tablet. It uses Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 OS, with a dual core CPU. It has a 9.4-inch multi-touch display, a front and rear camera, and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity.

It has a unique tapering design enabling it to have stability as well as ease of grip. It has 1 GB RAM with either 16 or 32 GB of internal storage and a memory card slot for an extra 32 GB. The Tablet S also has a GPS, micro USB slot, microphone, and headphone jack. All navigation buttons are on the touchscreen, except a power switch and volume control recessed on the side of the device.

Software included is as follows: customizable list of frequently used icons, favorites bar, customized web browser, remote control app, Sony Entertainment accessible, Sony Reader for e-books, social feed reader for Facebook and Twitter, Crash Bandicoot and Pinball Heroes games.
