Winter Weather Outlook For November-February For Cleveland OH
November 2012: A mild start to the month is forecasted and then a quick mid-month cold burst is possible. The overall average temps for the month will be around 40-50F. There will possibly be about 4-6 days that are warmer along with 5-7 days towards the end of the month that will be colder. Precipitation for the month will include the potential of seeing 1-2in of rainfall towards the beginning of the month followed by a snowy finish with upwards to 6-8in of snowfall.
December 2012. Temps will fall modestly for the month with the averages being around 30-40F with the potential of seeing 1-2 days being warmer and 8-10 days being colder, likely around the holidays will be the coldest part of the month. The month will also have the chance of seeing a Trace to 0.5in of rainfall. The winter precipitation will be some very heavy snowfalls with the total month accumulations being around 10-14in possible.
January 2013: A very cold month in store for the local area as the forecasted average temps are going to be around 10-20F. There is the likely hood of seeing upwards to 5-7 days being above that as well as 3-5 days being colder than the forecasted average temps. Precipitation for the month will include the chances of seeing upwards to a tenth of an inch of rainfall along with a very snowy month. Indications are that the region could see upwards to 10-12in of snowfall.
February 2013: A cold start to the month is very likely, followed by a gradual warm up throughout the month, the forecasted average temps will be around 20-30F, with the potential of seeing 10-12 days warmer, especially towards the end. There is also the chance of seeing 1-2 days being colder towards the beginning of the month. The precipitation for the month will include up to a half an inch of rain along with 8-10in of snow.
The overall outlook looks at a nice start to November followed by a cold and snowy winter for the Cleveland Region.
