So, this video does a pretty good job of breaking down exactly what Google Wave is and how it's going to revolutionize email. Maybe I'm just getting old and extra cantankerous but it really looks like a nightmare. Real time everything sounds horrible. I am assuming that I can follow an email chain a lot easier than I can replay a "real time conversation."

This article goes into greater depth about the impending death of email and I just can't get into it. I can understand a service like Facebook being a wide swath of information (a "river" as they say) but that's because none of it directly applies to myself or a workflow. If all of our clients were dropped into a Wave and that's how I was tasked with things to do it would drive me insane.
