Angel Pagan hit a grand slam and finished with five RBI Saturday, leading the New York Mets to a 9-6 win over Arizona. The slam snapped a 5-5 tie with one out in the eighth. Pagan had two of New York's 12 hits and added a sacrifice fly.

A painful right hip injury has forced the New York Mets to place slugger Carlos Delgado on their 15-day disabled list. The move is retroactive to May 10. In 26 games this season, Delgado is batting .298 with four home runs and 23 RBI. His injury, called an impingement, has led to a slight muscle tear
