Grain futures closed mostly higher Monday after stocks on Wall Street closed in the black following four consecutive trading sessions in the red. Corn was up 7 1/4 to up 8, soybeans were off 4 1/2 to unchanged; wheat was up 1 to up 1 1/2 and oats were up 1 1/2. Corn futures rose supported by the dollar's decline against the euro and the yen Monday.

Grain futures closed mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade as the dollar lost ground against the euro and the yen. Corn was off 2 1/2 to off 3 1/4, soybeans were up 4 1/2 to up 6 1/2, wheat was off 18 1/2 to off 23 1/4 and oats were unchanged. Corn futures opened higher, but turned lower in late afternoon with the harvest in the Midwest just underway.

Grain futures closed mixed on the Chicago Board of Trade Thursday as equities failed to make headway on Wall Street. Corn was up 5 3/4 to up 6 1/2, soybeans were off 1/2 to off 1 1/2, wheat was up 13 to up 16 and oats were up 3 to up 3 1/2. Corn futures rose with weather patterns in the Midwest staying clear of a hard frost.

Grains closed higher on the Chicago Board of Trade Thursday as the dollar traded lower against the euro and crude oil prices rose modestly. Corn was up 1 3/4 to up 2, soybeans were up 13 1/2 to up 19 1/2, wheat was up 2 3/4 to up 4 1/2 and oats were up 1/2 to up 1 1/2. Rain continues to delay corn planting in the Midwest, but is forecast to abate by Sunday.

Grains closed higher on the Chicago Board of Trade Tuesday as stocks staged a comeback on Wall Street after Monday's losses. Corn was up 4 1/2 to up 4 3/4, soybeans were up 19 1/2 to up 30, wheat was up 4 1/4 to up 5 and oats were up 2 1/2. Traders said a slow start to planting contributed to gains in corn prices.

Corn opened higher, but remains under pressure as planting picked up steam in the the Midwest.

Corn was up 1 1/2 to up 2, soybeans were up 12 3/4 to up 18 1/2, wheat was up 12 to up 13 1/4 and oats were up 1 1/2. Corn and wheat rose as wet weather continued to delay field work in the Midwest.
