Louis Scola added 16 points and Ron Artest had 15 for Houston, which climbed to within a half-game of first-place San Antonio in the Southwest Division.
Dwyane Wade scored 27 points Friday, rallying Miami to a 97-92 win over Charlotte that clinched a playoff berth for the Heat.
