NEW YORK, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- COMEDY CENTRAL earned three Emmy Awards in the 2007-2008 Primetime Emmy Awards competition, it was announced last night by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS). Ten-time Emmy-winner (five times each for program and writing) "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" the network's unique news parody series, won this year in one category: Outstanding Variety, Music Or Comedy Series.
