ON Semiconductor has acquired Catalyst Semiconductor in a stock-for-stock merger. Santa Clara, California-based Catalyst's stockholders have received 0.706 shares of ON common stock for each share of Catalyst common stock. The acquisition will add approximately $25m to ON's balance sheet.
