The Ladies Professional Golf Association has added a tournament in Acapulco, Mexico, to its 2010 schedule. The announcement Friday follows the resignation of former LPGA commissioner Carolyn Bivens June 13. Bivens resigned after several marquee players wrote a letter, expressing their anger about the LPGA having lost seven tournaments since 2007, and a hugely unpopular mandate requiring all of its players to learn and speak English by the end of 2009 or face suspension.
