AirAsia X has launched a new service from Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia to Melbourne in Australia. The airline operates the new service using wide-bodied Airbus A330-300 aircraft. AirAsia X will service the route between Melbourne and Kuala Lumpur initially with four return flights per week.
AirAsia has announced that it will launch a daily direct flight to Tiruchirappalli in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, beginning December 1, 2008. The airline will operate the daily direct flight using Airbus A320 aircraft.
