By William C Bayne It's just a policy recommendation now, but Horn Lake Mayor Nat Baker said last week he might be persuaded to seek an ordinance requiring developers to log and chip tree waste and to ban open burning.

By William C Bayne It's not mandatory, but the Horn Lake Board of Aldermen approved a policy change Tuesday night recommending that developers either chip or log timber from lots rather than do open burning. The change will be reflected in the city's Comprehensive Plan.
