By Rodger L. Hardy Deseret News PLEASANT GROVE -- An environmental assessment hearing Thursday is another step toward building a trail to serve hikers and equestrian enthusiasts over the Provo Canal once it is covered, Utah Department of Transportation documents say.
Utah County residents are invited to attend a public meeting for the Provo Reservoir Canal Trail Environmental Assessment from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Grove Junior High School, 810 N. 100 East.
Early voting will take place through Friday, June 20, except weekends, at the following locations: -- Utah Community Credit Union, 1364 N. Commerce Drive, Saratoga Springs, noon to 5 p.m. -- American Fork Library, 64 S. 100 East, American Fork, 3 to 7 p.m.
