Tokyo, March 1 (Jiji Press)--Troubled Fujiya Co. on Thursday resumed production of chocolates, candies, cookies and other sweets, about two months after one of the confectionary maker's plants was found to have used old milk to make cream puffs.

A leading Japanese confectioner stung for using expired ingredients in cakes should be back in operation next month, a third-party adviser said Friday.
