Amneal Pharmaceuticals has announced the execution of an asset purchase agreement for Amneal's wholly-owned subsidiary, Amneal Pharmaceuticals of New York, to acquire the assets, facilities and business of Interpharm.

Amneal Pharmaceuticals has completed acquisition of a 30,000 sq ft liquid form generic pharmaceuticals manufacturing plant in Branchburg, New Jersey and intellectual property for 18 generic prescription products.

Amneal Pharmaceuticals has received FDA approval to manufacture bethanechol chloride tablets, in strengths of 5mg, 10mg, 25mg and 50 mg for the treatment of urinary incontinence.

New Jersey-based Amneal Pharmaceuticals and India-based Indoco Remedies have finalized a joint venture partnership to develop, manufacture, market and distribute several products for the US market.
