AL chief calls for more efforts to save Lebanon CAIRO, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Arab League (AL) Secretary General Amr Moussa has urged all parties concerned to exert utmost effortsfor finding a solution to the ongoing Lebanese crisis, the Egyptian official MENA news agency reported on Tuesday.

The Arab League has decided that Egypt and Jordan will lead negotiations with Israel on the initiative for peace with the Palestinians. Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa said Egypt and Jordan would explain the initiative to the Israeli government because they had peace treaties with Israel.
