Slumdog Millionaire co-star Anil Kapoor has signed on for a role on the U.S.
SAN DIEGO, March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Anil Kapoor, the game show host on Academy Award Winning Movie "Slumdog Millionaire", which just fetched eight Oscars, was feted at a private luncheon in San Diego on March 4, 2009 by the former owner of Hollywood studio Dreamtime, Mukesh Assomull.
The Mumbai-set movie Slumdog Millionaire, which won four Golden Globes and has been nominated for 10 Oscars, had its Indian premiere Thursday night. The BBC said the movie -- directed by British filmmaker Danny Boyle on a budget of just under $10 million -- will be getting as wide a release in India as a major Bollywood film would.
