ST. GEORGE -- Firefighters are responding to nearly a dozen new fires burning in southern Utah, all believed to have been sparked by lightning storms that moved across the area. The Bureau of Land Management said smoke from the Black Rock Gulch fire on the Arizona strip is visible from St. George.
