Jazz musician Freddie Hubbard died at the age of 70 Monday in a Los Angeles area hospital after suffering a heart attack last month, USA Today reported. The Indianapolis-born trumpeter played with music titans such as John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, McCoy Tyner, Art Blakey and Herbie Hancock.
