DENVER, April 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) shipped NASA's Juno spacecraft to Kennedy Space Center, Fla. on April 8. The vehicle will undergo four months of testing and processing in preparation for its launch on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V 551 vehicle in early August.
NASA has awarded Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems Inc. in Houston a one-year contract extension valued at $33 million to provide integration services for cargo delivery to and from the International Space Station.
