Chinese Actress Bai Ling says she made an "innocent mistake" when she allegedly took a pack of batteries and two tabloid magazines at Los Angeles International Airport without paying for them.

The Los Angeles City Attorney's office has charged film actress Bai Ling with petty theft for allegedly stealing items from an airport shop last month. Ling, who starred in The Crow and Anna and the King, was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport following the alleged incident.
