By CHRISTINA ABEL Nease High School students were warned this week not to retaliate against other schools after Nease was vandalized, but students seemed more disappointed than angry about the thousands of dollars' worth of damage to their school.

By CHRISTINA ABEL Frank Davis, a physical education teacher at Nease High School, had anticipated next August as a special time - the last year he would drive his son to high school. Davis, who lives in St. Augustine Beach, has driven his son to Nease every day for the last several years.

Bartram Trail High School's production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Oklahoma! wraps up this weekend. Final performances will be at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday with a matinee at 1 p.m. Saturday.

St. Johns County has long been a gold standard among Northeast Florida school systems. It still is after the release of the latest Florida Department of Education rankings. The school district earned an A for the fourth year in a row and most of its schools ranked as A schools.
