NUNEATON and Bedworth have taken a major step towards achieving the status of a "Fairtrade" borough. A steering group has been set up and the borough council has adopted a resolution to support the work of Fairtrade, which seeks to improve the lives of people in Third World countries.

A GREAT 60s night out is being promised at Bedworth Civic Hall when two members of the hit band Freddie and the Dreamers take to the stage, along with members of The Tremeloes. Altogether three groups from the 1960s will be strutting their stuff on November 10.
