Kevin Martin scored 30 points Friday in leading Sacramento to a 121-94 win over New York, the Kings first victory this season against an Eastern Conference foe. The Kings had lost their first 28 games of the year against teams from the East. Beno Udrih added 20 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in helping the Kings halt a five-game losing streak.

Josh Howard scored a team-high 20 points Saturday night to lead the Dallas Mavericks in an easy 116-95 victory against the Sacramento Kings. Following a 30-20 first quarter, Dallas built its advantage to 70-50 by halftime and held a double-digit lead the entire second half. Reserve James Singleton had 19 points and 12 rebounds.

A 3-pointer by Francisco Garcia touched off a game-ending run Friday night that boosted the Sacramento Kings to a 115-106 victory over Memphis. Sacramento won a road game for only the fourth time all season.
