Knut, Berlin Zoo's superstar polar bear, has died at the age of four.

Knut the polar bear, possibly the most famous Berliner of recent years, is likely to eventually be moved out of the German capital. The bear was born in the Berlin Zoo two years ago this Friday.

World News IN BRIEF *BERLIN A north German zoo is suing its Berlin rival for a share of profits from Knut, the polar bear who is Berlin Zoo's star resident. Neumuenster Zoo owns Knut's father, Lars, and claims it legally owns Knut under a deal with Berlin Zoo.

The German city of Nuremberg and officials at the city’s zoo introduced a new polar bear cub, named Flocke, to the public Tuesday.
