Old-school artists Morris Day and the Time and Big Daddy Kane will be among the performers Saturday during the 2008 Funk Fest at Metropolitan Park. The one-day festival began in Mobile, Ala., in 1994 and has grown to include Jacksonville, Baton Rouge, La., and Greenville/ Spartanburg, S.C.
