Ridnour also made a key steal with 44 seconds left and the Bucks owning a three-point lead, but Milwaukee could not put the game away. Charlie Bell missed what would have been a clinching shot for the Bucks with 20 seconds remaining and Bobby Simmons then hit a three-pointer to tie it with 11 seconds left. Following a time out, Ridnour was able to work his way free in the lane for the game-winning shot. The Bucks have alternated wins and losses for nine straight games.
Yi Jianlian scored a team-high 27 points Saturday when the New Jersey Nets registered an easy 112-95 win over the Los Angeles Clippers. In his best career effort, Yi added six rebounds and two blocked shots. New Jersey gradually pulled away from a 31-29 first quarter advantage and outscored LA in every period. Vince Carter compiled 26 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals.
WASHINGTON - Gilbert Arenas scored 14 of his 35 points in the fourth quarter, and Antawn Jamison hit a big 3-pointer in the final minute, leading the Washington Wizards to a 94-91 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday.
