Nokia, the world's biggest maker of mobile phones, said Tuesday that it would close a factory in Germany and cut about 2,300 jobs as it shifted production to locations with lower costs. The factory in Bochum in western Germany is scheduled to close in mid-2008, Nokia said.
Glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) has been proposed to act as an incretin hormone due to its ability to enhance glucose-stimulated insulin secretion. Because GLP-1 also decelerates gastric emptying, it physiologically reduces rather than augments postprandial insulin secretory responses.
