Ben Gordon's 39 points Saturday helped the Chicago Bulls capture a 113-106 win over the Charlotte Bobcats, their fourth straight victory. Chicago moved a full game ahead of eighth-place Detroit in the Eastern Conference playoff picture after the Pistons suffered a 106-102 loss to the Indiana Pacers. The Bulls are one-half game behind sixth-place Philadelphia. Derrick Rose scored 22 points with seven assists.

Kevin Durant recorded 20 points and 10 rebounds Friday, helping the Oklahoma City Thunder end its inaugural home season with an 84-81 victory over Charlotte. The Bobcats saw their playoff hopes come to an end. Durant made a free throw with 1 second to play and Vladimir Radmanovic's desperation 3-point attempt at the buzzer failed to go, leaving the Thunder with a 15-26 home record. It was their first campaign in Oklahoma City after moving from Seattle following the 2007-08 campaign. Nenad Krstic contributed 19 points for Oklahoma City, which won for just the second time in nine games. Charlotte lost for the fourth time in five games, ending its bid for the franchise's first post-season berth.

Raymond Felton scored 32 points and Gerald Wallace 29 Tuesday to lead the Charlotte Bobcats to a 101-98 win over Philadelphia. Wallace added 11 rebounds for the Bobcats, and Boris Diaw had 17 points, six rebounds and six assists for the Bobcats, who are chasing their first post-season berth. The Bobcats, who blew a 20-point lead before winning, are now just 2 1/2 games behind Chicago and Detroit for the eighth slot in the Eastern Conference. Philadelphia was led by Andre Miller with 23 points and seven assists.

A layup by Raymond Felton with 8 seconds remaining Friday finally halted a Philadelphia comeback and gave the Charlotte Bobcats a 100-95 win over the 76ers. Charlotte saw an 18-point, fourth-quarter lead dwindle to just three when Andre Iguodala made a 3-pointer with 47 seconds remaining. Raja Bell
