Chris Mason gave up a first-period, power-play goal and nothing more Thursday night in leading the St. Louis Blues to a 3-1 victory over San Jose. Mason stopped 24 shots and saw his team rally from an early deficit to pick up its sixth win in eight games.
Brad Boyes and Jay McClement scored two goals apiece Tuesday to carry the St. Louis Blues to a 4-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. Boyes also had an assist and Carlo Colaiacovo had two assists for the Blues. Chris Mason stopped 33-of-35 shots for the victory. R.J.
Brad Boyes scored the tie-breaking goal with 2:10 to play Friday and the St. Louis Blues halted a seven-game road losing streak with a 6-4 win over Vancouver. The Blues had not won away from home since Nov. 30 in Atlanta. St. Louis equaled its largest output of the season with the six goals.
