Ryan Braun and Craig Counsell keyed a late-game offensive explosion Friday that brought Milwaukee a 12-6 win over St.

Ryan Braun had a two-run homer in the first and doubled home another run in the third Friday, pacing Milwaukee to a 6-3 victory over Arizona. Milwaukee built a 6-1 lead through five innings and went on to halt a three-game losing streak. Braden Looper (12-6) got the win, ending a streak of three straight starts in which he had to settle for a no-decision.

Prince Fielder's 12th-inning solo homer Sunday lifted the Milwaukee Brewers to a 2-1 win over the San Francisco Giants. The homer was Fielder's 30th this season.

Prior to the game, Major League Baseball announced it would investigate an incident at Dodger Stadium Tuesday night in which Brewers' slugger Prince Fielder had to be restrained by stadium security after he tried to get into the Dodgers clubhouse after the game.

Braden Looper pitched seven shutout innings and Prince Fielder had two RBI Tuesday to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 2-0 win over Pittsburgh. Looper (9-4) limited the Pirates to four hits.
