The defending champion Philadelphia Phillies have signed three-time Cy Young Award winner Pedro Martinez to a one-year contract, sources told MLB.com Tuesday. One source told the baseball Web site the Phillies will announce the signing of a $1 million deal with $1.5 million in incentives Wednesday.
