Luis Castillo went 3-for-4 with an RBI for the Mets.
Omir Santos hit a homer in the fifth and drove in the game-winner with a single in the 11th Friday, giving the New York Mets a 2-1 victory over Florida. The division-leading Mets won their fourth straight. Santos tied the contest with his third home run of the season and it remained a 1-1 game until the Mets got to Brian Sanches (1-1) in the 11th. Gary Sheffield opened the 11th with a single, stole second and went to third on a throwing error by catcher Ronny Paulino.
