The British Broadcasting Corp.'s head of television says the company has vowed to limit vulgar language on its airwaves next year. The recent controversy sparked by a pre-taped, sexually explicit phone prank played by Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand on a BBC radio program prompted the decision, The Times of London reported.
Britain's Jaguar Land Rover said it would lay off 850 workers by the end of the year, a move that follows a cut of 600 jobs earlier this year. Jaguar Land Rover moved to a four-day per week production schedule in August, the British Broadcasting Corp.
