PROVO, Utah, Aug. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Broadweave Networks and Veracity Communications today announced a merger of the two companies to form Veracity Networks, a premier, local, provider of telecommunications services.
On the heels of becoming the sole owner and operator of the former iProvo network, Broadweave Networks today announced that it has reached a marketing agreement with Telarus, Inc., a premier telecom master agent, to market and sell Broadweave's commercial data and voice services on Broadweave's newly acquired fiber-optic network, the largest of its kind in Utah.
On Friday, August 29, 2008, Broadweave Networks completed the acquisition of the iProvo network, officially becoming the sole owner and operator of what was the largest municipal fiber-to-the-premises network in the United States.
