HOSPITALS in Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland have been given a clean bill of health by inspection teams.

A WARD at Guisborough Primary Care Hospital has been temporarily closed for essential building work. Patients who would have been on Priory Ward are being relocated to either Stead Primary Care Hospital, in Redcar, or East Cleveland Primary Care Hospital, in Brotton.

YOUNGSTERS have the results of a year-long project to develop their artistic skills. The work of the 150 primary and secondary pupils from across the Te es Valley went on show in an exhibition on Wednesday, as the Drawing To gether scheme came to a close.

CLEVELAND POTASH employees and families have raised pounds 2,020 in a charity walk for Butterwick House Children's Hospice and the Great North Air Ambulance. The 12-mile hike, completed by 53 walkers of all ages, took place from the Ship Inn at Saltburn along the coast to the Runswick Bay Hotel.
