Five-time MVP Michael Jordan headed a list of superstars inducted Friday into the Basketball Hall of Fame. David Robinson, John Stockton, Jerry Sloan and Vivian Stringer joined Jordan in receiving their sport's top honor. The game of basketball has been everything to me, Jordan said at the induction banquet.

Six-time NBA champion and five-time Most Valuable Player Michael Jordan is among the five-member class of 2009 for the Basketball Hall of Fame. Jordan, fellow players David Robinson and John Stockton and Coach Jerry Sloan were all selected for enshrinement on their first year of consideration, Hall of Fame officials said Monday.
