GE Energy (Czech Republic) will supply 139 wind turbines for the semi-state power company CEZ (Czech Republic), which will install them at its wind power station in Tulcei, Romania.

CEZ (Prague, Czech Republic), semi-state power group, won a tender on takeover of 76% of shares in the distribution company Operatori i Sistemit te Shperndarjes (Albania) at the end of Sep 2008. CEZ has offered about EUR 102 mil, about CEK 2.5 bil, for this company having nearly 1 mil customers.

CEZ (Prague, Czech Republic), semi-state power group, will build the largest seaside wind power plant in Europe in the province Dobrudja, Romania. CEZ plans to invest about EUR 27 bil in this wind farm reaching a capacity of about 600 MW.

Czech power company CEZ has obtained the official notification from the Albanian ministry of power engineering of its successful bid, after a decision was rendered by a commission established for the evaluation of bids submitted in the tender for the majority 76% share in the Albanian distribution company Operatori i Sistemit te Shperndarjes.
