By Howard Buck, The Columbian, Vancouver, Wash. May 22--The Camas district didn't have to look far to find its next high school principal. Steve Marshall, Mountain View High School associate principal, will take over the Camas High School job in July, the district has announced.

By Seattle Times Oct. 20--A Pasco High School teacher is the state's Teacher of the Year, state Superintendent of Public Instruction Terry Bergeson announced Friday. Laura Jones was among nine finalists for the award, announced at the Museum of Flight in Seattle.

By HOWARD BUCK Camas High School teacher Mark Gardner has been named Educational Service District 112 Teacher of the Year. He team-teaches several English classes, part of a program to improve the study skills of freshmen.
