Canadian Solar has signed a sales contract with Systaic of Germany. Under the contract, Systaic will purchase 60MW of regular solar modules for delivery in 2009. Systaic has been a customer of Canadian Solar (CSI) since the beginning of 2008.

Canadian Solar and GCL Silicon Technology Holdings have signed new long-term supply agreements, pursuant to which GCL will supply 510MT of high-purity poly-silicon feedstock in 2008 and 2009, and approximately 1.8GW of wafers to Canadian Solar between 2010 and 2015.

Photovoltaic systems developer Canadian Solar has reported that net revenues were $212.6 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2008, compared to $60.4 million for the same period of 2007.
