Keith Fergus won the rain-shortened Regions Charity Classic in Alabama Sunday at 12-under-par 132 for two rounds, his second Champions Tour win this year. Fergus shot two straight 66s, finishing three shots ahead of Gene Jones, who closed with a 66 for a 135 total.

A string of four straight birdies and an eagle carried Keith Fergus to the championship Sunday in the Cap Cana Championship in the Dominican Republic. Fergus closed with a 5-under-par 67 for an overall score of 13-under 203, winning the Champions Tour event by a shot over Andy Bean (65) and Mark O'Meara (68). Joey Sindelar (67) placed fourth at 11-under 205. The 55-year-old Fergus birdied the 12th through 15th holes and eagled the 17th. It's been a great week, Fergus said.
