THE UK's main air traffic control centre suffered a computer glitch last night that saw scores of flights cancelled and delayed. The problem started just before 4pmwhen a fault occurred at one of the systems at Swanwick Air Traffic Control Centre in Hampshire.

A NORTH WALES airport that runs flights between Anglesey and South Wales wants to extend its range of routes, it was reported yesterday. The airport, which runs two daily flights between Valley in Anglesey and Cardiff, wants to introduce flights from North Wales to London and Dublin.
