The Diocese of Salt Lake City ordained two men to the priesthood in a ceremony held May 31 at the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Manuel Cern, a native of Mexico, and Jos Rausseo, a native of Venezuela, were ordained by Bishop John C. Wester in a ceremony rich in tradition and ritual.

"Legends, Blunders and Codes: Who is the real Mary Magdalene?" will be the topic of a community lecture and social Friday at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 331 E. South Temple. The event will be in the adult education room in Scanlan Hall.
