ATLANTA, Dec. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lanza Group, LLC announces Centennial Olympic Park as theofficial home of Fiesta Atlanta through 2015.
Officials of the NCAA Football Hall of Fame have announced plans to relocate from South Bend, Ind., to Atlanta. The move to Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park area will create a state-of-the-art, 50,000-square-foot interactive facility near the World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium, CNN Center, Children's Museum of Atlanta, the Philips Arena, the Georgia Dome, and the future Center for Civil & Human Rights. It will cost $50 million and is to open in the fall of 2012. We have had a great run in South Bend for the past 15 years, and it's been a wonderful showcase for us and our mission, National Football Foundation President and Chief Executive Officer Steve Hatchell said Thursday in a statement.
