A Christian archbishop kidnapped almost two weeks ago in northern Iraq was found dead Thursday, authorities say. Chaldean Catholic Archbishop Paul Faraj Rahho's body was found near the town of Mosul, where he and three companions were ambushed by gunmen on Feb. 29.
A Chaldean Catholic archbishop was kidnapped and his guards shot and killed Friday by Iraqi gunmen in Mosul, it was reported. Archbishop Faraj Rahho apparently was taken from his car after he left a church. The kidnappers attacked his car and killed the three guards, CNN reported.
