NEW DELHI: Passengers of two flights of MDLR Airlines, travelling from Delhi to Chandigarh and Chandigarh to Delhi, had a harrowing time, after their flights were delayed due to a bomb-cum-hijack hoax.
India-based Kingfisher Airlines has launched its new daily services from Chandigarh to Delhi and Mumbai. The airline is also planning to start a direct service from Delhi to Hyderabad and Goa. Kingfisher is the third airline after Indian and Jet Airways, to operate services from Delhi to Chandigarh.
MDLR Airlines has announced that it will soon start Delhi-based operations in the northern region of India, according to The Economic Times.
CHANDIGARH: Various Punjab government employees associations have sought the chief minister's intervention during the ongoing budget session to raise the retirement age of the employees from 58 to 60 years.
