American teachers learn Chinese teaching in Shanghai SHANGHAI, July 11 (Xinhua) -- A total of 16 teachers from elementary and secondary schools and institutions of higher learning in the United States have begun their six-week study course on teaching Chinese in China's business hub of Shanghai.

Kyoto, June 19 (Jiji Press)--Takara Bio Inc. said Monday it has inked a deal with China's governmental research institute to jointly develop a gene therapy for AIDS using an enzyme that works to eliminate HIV virus.
