By Jared Page Deseret News City Creek Center is going green. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' $1.5 billion downtown project is taking part in a pilot program of the U.S. Green Building Council that promotes environmentally responsible and sustainable development.

Bridges are nice. I love the Eccles bridge at the University of Utah, and I like all nice bridges over rivers.

City Creek Reserve Inc., a development arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is seeking planned development approval for the overall site plan and design of City Creek Center -- including the proposed skybridge over Main Street at approximately 50 South.
