Clear Skies Solar has announced an $8 million agreement with Prayag Green Solar Power to develop and construct a 2MW solar power project in Chitrakoot in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Clear Skies Solar, a developer and provider of solar power solutions, has been awarded a 150kW solar contract through its newly established partnership in Greece with Aspen Energy. This project is valued at approximately $1 million.

Turnkey solar installation solutions provider Clear Skies Solar has purchased 34 acres of land in Cantil, California, the proposed site for a $44 million 8MW solar farm. Clear Skies is slated to close on the land contract on June 14, 2008, taking full title of the property.

Clear Skies Solar has announced that it will open a new office in Golden, Colorado to expand operations in the entire Colorado region and ultimately deliver engineering support to the upcoming offices in the southwest US.

New York-based solar energy firm Clear Skies Solar has hired Tom Oliveri as its president. Mr Oliveri comes to Clear Skies from engineering firm Sulzer Metco.
