By John Friel BY JOHN FRIEL Correspondent For the fourth straight year, Cocalico School District residents could be in for a tax hike. At its April 14 meeting, the Cocalico school board approved a proposed new budget calling for $46,073,580 in expenditures against revenues of $44,752,790.
By John Friel Correspondent Cocalico School District unenthusiastically approved its share of the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center's new budget. At its Jan. 28 meeting, the Cocalico School Board voted 7-1 to accept an 11 percent hike in its share of LCCTC's support.
By Brian Wallace Cocalico School District has expanded the scope of a new prekindergarten program for 3-year-old children. The district began providing classes Oct. 9 for 3-year-olds and 4- year-olds living in the Reamstown Elementary School attendance area.
