Jorge Cantu and Brett Carroll delivered two-out, RBI singles in the ninth Wednesday, bringing the Florida Marlins from behind for a 7-6 win over Philadelphia. The Marlins trailed by three runs going into the bottom of the seventh, but got a solo homer from Gaby Sanchez in that inning and an RBI single from Cody Ross in the eighth. Embattled Philadelphia closer Brad Lidge (0-8) was brought on to protect the lead in the ninth, but suffered his 11th blown save in 42 opportunities this season. After Ross Gload doubled to open the ninth, Chris Coghlan was retired on a fly ball to right and John Baker struck out looking.

Hanley Ramirez hit a two-run homer and drove in three runs Saturday as the Florida Marlins defeated Washington 9-5. Cody Ross finished with two RBI and six batters knocked in one run each in a six-run sixth Thursday, leading the Florida Marlins to an 8-3 win over Atlanta. The victory followed a heated exchange between Marlins' teammates Dan Uggla and Hanley Ramirez after Wednesday's 8-7 loss to the Braves. Ross had two hits Thursday, including an RBI double in the sixth.

Hanley Ramirez had four of Florida's 19 hits and three RBI Sunday, leading the Marlins' 12-3 rout of the Philadelphia Phillies. Chris Coghlan also had four hits with two RBI. Wes Helms had a two-run homer and three RBI.
